Bigger wheels and rims a 2” lift, stiffer springs and the whole car takes on a new stance sitting 13cm higher at the front. The rally car conversion has meant a whole new interior is required. We started by stripping out the old, the AC, the heating and all unnecessary switching and auxiliary looms were ripped out and replaced with simpler functional switches and accessible fuses and relays. The rally preparations have finally begun, first on our list of jobs is the suspension and running gear. A 2” lift kit from @tf4x4 with new dislocation cones, stiffer springs, dampers, panhard rods, steering rods, drop arms, radius arms, axle extensions and steering dampers all fitted without too many “show again” moments.
